Warning : This post only contains good vibes.

Hey Lovey People!

It's been a little since my last post. I've been just working on my YouTube Channel. I figured the best would be to record videos then I can post them here. It's easier than typing for me, & visually more educational. If I have reviews though, it might be something I can continue doing here! But anyways, I just wanted to stop in & say hi. :)

I just uploaded onto my The Beast of Beauty Inc. Channel. I did a review on the Cover Girl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Concealer. & The Ardell Mechanical Brow Pencil aka Anastasia Brow Definer dupe.

Basically at the end of the video, I loved both products. Maybe one more than the other. But they are a nice addition to my everyday routine.

Speaking of YouTube. I have some new ideas for the next coming videos. I'm thinking of doing some Valentine's Day looks. I already know what looks I want to do! :D So looks like the other videos I had plans on doing will have to wait longer. That just means more content!!
I've been really inspired lately it feels awesome. I feel like I haven't gotten creative in a long time. I even got to have fun with some hair yesterday! It came out just how I imagined it. It was awesome.

This was before I cut & after I colored it. She went from a 5K to a Wella 1NN.

It was just everything we BOTH wanted. It was nice to work with her actually. I've known her before but we haven't hung out just us, & I just had a nice time over all with this beautiful mom to be.

I've been liking how life is going right now. & it's only February. I'm just being genuinely optimistic about the future & it's nice. :)

Thanks for stopping by you awesome person! I wish you peace & come back again! See you guys soon.

UPDATE! :D

HEY LOVES!

Long time no post. Sorry life sometimes doesn't allow me to post (my baby girl). But I definitely try! She's actually skipping a nap & causing a mess as we speak. The show must still go on. Since my introduction something new has come into play....

I finally made my own YouTube Channel! I don't know if I mentioned it in my last post, but other than starting my blog the other goals I wanted to accomplish this new year was to start my channel. & I'm so glad I did. I'm already so in love with it. It just feels awesome to get the positive feedback that I received. So for everyone supporting it,

THANK YOU!!! <3 <3 <3

I couldn't be more thankful for you guys not only liking my content but promoting me too. I love all of you.

So today is the 21st so I'm hoping that Juliet will let me & I'll get another video recorded for you guys today. That is if I can beat the sun...

I was thinking of recreating one of these:

This or...
The one I originally planned on filming.

If you guys have any feedback on which you would like to see first, let me know! I think rather than write the steps of the look, I will include the tutorial & just break down the products. It would just be easier for everyone. :)

Again, thanks for everything guys. It really does mean a lot to me. I won't let you down. <3

This year I really wanted to do more for me. & now that I graduated from Cosmetology school (finally) I have more time to work on my business. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rosie. I am a freelance makeup artist & hairstylist. I also work at my dream job at Sephora as a Beauty Consultant. I have worked as a freelance makeup artist for 4 years now, & at Sephora for a year and a half. I know a lot, but I know I still have a lot to learn. I'm basically here so I can spread my artistic & professional wings. This blog is just the 1st things of more to come.

It's definitely not New Years anymore, but since I loved the look I did, I'll talk about it.

I was thinking of what look I wanted to do. It's New Years & I knew I didn't want to do a look someone else has done. I've been loving my Too Faced Chocolate Palette, So I started from there.
There's this really beautiful eye shadow in this palette.

Its called Cherry Cordial & it's such a nice deep burgundy. Growing up in a Mexican household, I was always told you should go into the New Year wearing red to bring good luck. This isn't red, red. But it's a variation.. which worked for me.

When you first see the shadow it has some glitter specks, but as you can see when I swatched it, it was more matte. These are the shadows I used. First I primed of course. Then I used White Chocolate all over my lid just to make blending easier later. Used Salted Caramel as my transition. Then of course Milk Chocolate in my crease, followed by Semi-Sweet to deepen & I also put Cherry Cordial in the crease so I can just use a flat dense brush to apply it to my lid. Desi Perkins explains why here. I attempted to do a silver glitter liner with this one from Mac.

..The darker one of course. I actually used the lighter one (White Pigment) to highlight my brow bone & highlight my face. The other pigment (Silver Glitter) I attempted to use for glitter liner like I said, but I didnt apply enough. So when I put on my Ardell Wispies it covered most of it. Now I know for when I film it! :D I used Duo lash glue to apply it.

Primed with my Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Primer, applied my Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Natural Beige, Sephora Bright Future Serum Concealer in Palmier, Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder (which I use for wherever I'm highlighting), Mac Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Fairly Precious (limited edition), & that Mac Pigment I had mentioned before (which is also limited edition. It was in the holiday collection 2014).

With it being the New Year, I have goals I want to accomplish. So (hopefully) soon I can get my YouTube channel up & running. I will probably film this look since it's my favorite. Thanks for visiting the Beasts Den & make sure you come back. Thanks loves, xo Rosie.
